Mission Update (June 2017)

Posted on Mon Jul 10, 2017 @ 6:43pm by Captain Garridan Rismore

Hello everyone!

My apologies that this is ten days late. Life has been really busy for both me and Karen lately. Our days are filled with appointments and work to get our house and one of our rooms ready for the baby. I am still more or less able to answer posts and whatnot at the usual rate that I do. Karen is, understandably, a little slower right now. She only has four weeks of work left before she hops onto maternity leave though so things should normalize for her when that happens. As for when the baby arrives... well I have no idea what to expect but we'll see what happens.

In the month of June we completed a total of three posts. That's okay-ish. I would have liked to see us finish up a few of the ones that are currently being worked on. No matter, they'll come out in July. We should have about four or five I think for the month so it will all work out. Please remember to get to your tags as promptly as possible (at the very least every two to three days) otherwise the posts will be slowed right up and it will be difficult for everyone. If you need to be away please let me or Shannon (Stross) know. I know this is just a game but it's good to be aware of what's going on in case we need to adapt the mission accordingly.

Monthly Mission Recap
The Jericho’s new Chief Operations Officer, Lieutenant Brendan Dernah, telepathically contacted the Jem’Hadar First of the Dominion battle cruiser in an attempt to get them to cease their attack on the Lumenites. Being duty prone to the Vorta and the Dominion, the First refused to engage with the Betazoid. With little choice left, Captain Rismore ordered the Vorta be beamed directly to the bridge so that she would have no alternative but to talk to them. Rismore was able to reason with Mauna and hostilities between the two ended for now. She was escorted to the observations lounge so that she and the Captain could further discuss matters relating to both parties.

That's about it. I don't really have much more to say. Have a good July, folks!
